Person in charge of the protection of personal information
In accordance with Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, the person in charge is Yves Larouche, Owner. To reach them: info@nrx3.com.
What we collect
The site only collects personal information when you fill in the contact form:
- your name and email address;
- your organization's name, type of organization, interests and preferred way of meeting, if you provide them;
- the content of your message.
To limit abuse, the IP address of the device sending the form is kept in memory on our server for at most one hour, then erased. It is not recorded anywhere else.
The site uses no tracking cookies and no advertising. Fonts, photos and the statistics tool are hosted on our server: your visit is not passed on to any third-party service.
Why we use it
Only to respond to your request and follow up on it. Your information is not sold, rented or used to send you advertising, and it is not used to train any artificial intelligence model.
Who processes it
- Website hosting: server rented from OVHcloud, in Canada.
- Sending your message: the form forwards your message to our mailbox through Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon Web Services), in the Canada (Central) region.
- Mailbox: Namecheap Private Email, whose servers are located in the United States (Phoenix, Arizona), according to Namecheap. Your message is therefore stored outside Québec and Canada.
How long we keep it
A message we receive is kept for 12 months after our last exchange, then deleted. If you become a client, our exchanges are kept for as long as our business relationship lasts.
Visit statistics
To know which pages are viewed and how people find us, we measure the site's audience with Umami, open-source software installed on our own server, in Canada. The statistics are not sold, shared or combined with other data.
- What is recorded for each page view: the page's address and title, the site you came from, device type, browser, operating system, screen size, browser language, and approximate country, region and city.
- What is not recorded: your IP address (it is only used, at the time of the visit, to work out the region), and no cookies: nothing is stored on or read from your browser.
- Distinct visits: to count visitors without recognizing them, Umami computes a code from the IP address, the browser and a secret that changes every day. A visit therefore can't be linked to the next day's.
- Not being counted: if your browser sends the Do Not Track signal, no data is recorded. Blocking the
stats.nrx3.comscript has the same effect; the site works the same way. - Retention: 2 years.
Language cookie
The site is available in French and English. On your first visit to the home page, the language shown follows your browser's setting. If you switch languages with the FR | EN selector, the site saves that choice in a single cookie:
- Name:
lang; - content:
froren, nothing else: no identifier, no information about you; - purpose: to show the site in the language you chose on your next visits;
- duration: one year;
- set by: nrx3.com only. It is not read by any third party.
This cookie is only set if you use the language selector. To object, don't use the selector, delete the cookie or block cookies in your browser settings: the site works the same way, and the home page then simply follows your browser's language.
Your rights
You can ask to access your information, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw your consent, by writing to info@nrx3.com. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact Québec's Commission d'accès à l'information.
Internal rules and complaints
Only the NRX3 people who answer requests read the messages received; they are deleted after the period stated above. To make a complaint, write to info@nrx3.com: we reply in writing within 30 days. You can also contact Québec's Commission d'accès à l'information.
Privacy incidents
If an incident presents a risk of serious harm, we notify the people concerned and the Commission d'accès à l'information, as the law requires.
This policy is also available in French.
